A good bed bug dog is a combination of high play drive and a lot of self-confidence. And many are 'rescue' dogs found in shelters around North America. It takes a good judge of dogs to pick out a candidate for a career in scent detection and one very lucky dog in Alabama fit the bill, and was very lucky indeed. From abandoned at the side of the highway last August, to a new career in early bed bug detecion in a matter of months.
